The setting speaks for itself and yet it is only 10 minutes' drive from a shops and services. It is set above the Turrite River, in a completely unspoilt setting where the ancient roads to Trassilico and Gragliano were. Originally, this monestery was owned by the Court of Trassilico.
The owner undertook a meticulous, conservative restoration maintaining the authenticity of the buildings' past. The floors are flagged and oak planked. The ceilings are of chestnut beams, the walls are testiment to the beautiful stone from which the monestary was contructed.
All properties have a "wow" feature, in this case, it is the adjoining deconsecrated church. The church has been given a Minstrals' Gallery where yoga is practiced in front of the flower window. This is large enough for concerts, informal cinema showings and courses.
The suites are minimalist and well lit. All are en-suite with either a shower or bath-tub and either a private or shared sun-terrace. One of the bedroom suites has steep stairs up to a sky-lit platform.
Privacy is maintained, not by gates, but by a bridge over the river up to the gravel parking lot.
