ID-Villa Lorenzo
Historic Villa Between Lucca and Pisa Set in its Own Grounds
The property is found behind electric gates in one of the most pretigious areas around the walled city of Lucca. It has lovely flat parkland around it including a beautiful arched walkway. Although the villa is very secluded, it has full access to a village with shops and a bar. There is also an excellent cake shop nearby as well as extremely quick access to Pisa Airport.
When one enters one sees the beautiful restoration of the floors and the rooms, there is a massive entrance hall with a marble floor, to each side there are smaller rooms one of which is an informal sitting room and one of which is a study. The dining room at the far end is west-facing with French Doors opening out onto the terrace.
The kitchen is very large and modern, needing no upgrading. There is then a suite of what could be two bedrooms each with a bathroom.
Upstairs is completely habitable but not restored as recently, here there are five possible bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a lovely large sitting room.
Underneath, there are large, high cantinas which could be restored and used. Above the villa there are high attics and so, if anyone felt the need to expand this villa, they could.
The dependence is resotered in a more contemporary style with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs has a wonderful open living space with stairs going up making a feature.
Here there are high trees but there would be space for a tennis court. The dependence is found behind the main villa. There is also lots of space for a pool. The land has a well for irrigation, a surveillance system and external lighting.
This property is also available for a long term let.
